Library Milestones

1974 * Volunteer library established
1975 * Children's summer reading program began
1975- * The Collection was exspanded by donation
1996 of many books and interior renovation was
completed
1996 * Roy Burns Annex built and dedicated
* Dedication of "Zach's Corner"
1998 * Building became the property of the Library
1999 * Land officially acquired
* Placed on National Historic Register
* Became Priest Lake Public Library
2000 * Friends of the Library established
* New storage shed built
* New computer recieved from the Gate
Foundation
* Installed carved,wooden sign on HWY 57
* Additional parking area cleared and graveled
2001 * Library collection and accounting system
computerized
2003 * Bathroom upgraded and new well
2004 * Began Library addition
2006 * Completion of new Library addition
